Canadian environmental activist David Suzuki says current trade tensions between Ottawa and Washington shouldn’t be reason enough for the exploitation of natural resources that would lead to ‘the destruction of the biosphere’ in Canada. His comments come as Prime Minister Mark Carney is hosting 100 of the world’s biggest investors, pitching Canada as a place to do business in the fields of conventional and clean energy, AI, as well as mining and metal projects.
